Try. Fail, Learn, Repeat.

Hi, I'm a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University. My research focuses on the development of new biomaterials for neural regenerative therapies. My thesis has utilized the principles of supramolecular self-assembly to invent new biocompatible, biodegradable, hydrogel scaffolds with unique bioactivity.

A special interest I have culminated during my time at Northwestern is creating art from science. I use various microscopy techniques as my medium not only to express my own creative aspirations, but to communicate science. I stumble on "ah hah!" moments every time I sit down at a microscope. I want to use my images to share this feeling of wonder and discovery with others.

I also want to share several of my passions outside of the lab. These include science advocacy and communication, mentorship, engineering field work, and science education. Take a look around, and get to know me a little better!
